FOOD AND WAR ON THE FOURTH

Food makes people angry, vapid really. Don’t get
between a man and his snacks because if you do, a grey cloud in the shape of a
bag of chips may loom quite horridly on your horizon—as one MeStro member so
thoroughly learned. Or, perhaps this angry denizen was simply reenacting a
gastric interpretation of the Revolutionary War.
Regardless of emotional and physical wounds incurred,
we at MeStro celebrated the glory that is the 4th of July with
gusto. We reveled in Americana, applauding the cuisine that makes our nation
great—fried chicken, apple pie, hamburgers, and hotdogs. We proudly declared
our American indulgence—we hope you did the same, and that you tell us all
about it. We love a good dish and the tales of fabulous MeStros.
